Man beaten to death in Dhaka

A man, injured by some local miscreants on Friday afternoon, succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) early Saturday. Witnesses said a gang of identified local miscreants mercilessly beat Md Nasir Hossain, 25, on Friday afternoon in Bhashantek area in the city. Locals rescued Nasir and rushed him to the DMCH where he succumbed to his injuries around 2am today. The victim’s family filed a murder case with Bhashantek Police Station, according to a news agency.
