Man burnt to death in city fire

A man was burnt to death when a fire broke out in five chemical warehouses at Champatuli lane in the city's Swarighat area on Tuesday night. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Farhaduzzaman, an official of fire service control room, said the fire broke out in a godown in the area around 9:39 pm and soon engulfed adjoining four chemical warehouses. — UNB
