Man burnt to death in Dinajpur

A man was burnt to death in a fire that erupted in a hotel at Upashohor in Dinajpur town on Saturday. The dead is Abdul Haque, an employee of the 'Hotel Sultan' at Upashohor and son of Abdul Khalek of Dinajpur Sadar Upazila. Fire service sources said the fire broke out in the hotel and soon engulfed four adjoining shops around 5:00am. Being informed, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and doused the fire after 1-hour's hectic efforts.They also recovered the charred body of Abdul Haque, who was asleep in the hotel at dead of night. The origin of the fire could not be known, according to UNB.
