Man chopped to death in Dhaka

Some miscreants have chopped to death an employee of a food company in Dhaka city on Monday. The dead is Md Shahjahan, 60. He used to work as a security guard for the factory of ‘Ahmed Food Products’ nearby the Purabi Cinema Hall in Mirpur. Shahjahan was working the overnight shift. The next shift’s security guard Ismail Hossain found him severely injured on Monday morning and rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, police said. The duty doctor declared him dead around 9.30am. ‘The body has wounds by sharp weapons on his face and head.’ Details of the murder are awaited, according to a news agency.
