Man commits suicide in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Sept 20 (BSS): A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Wednesday at village Arazi Tarafkamal under Rasulpur Union of Sadullapur Upazila in the district.
The victim was identified as Alamgir Hossain, 26, son of Lutfar Rahman of that village.
Quoting family sources, police said Alamgir had been suffering from stomach pain for long. On that day he felt acute pain in his stomach at around 7 am. Being unable to bear the pain, he hanged himself with a rope around his neck from a beam of the bed room at his residence for committing suicide.
The family members rescued him and admitted him to Sadullapur Upazila Health Complex where the attending doctor declared him dead.
Later, the police sent the body to hospital morgue for autopsy. Father of the victim filed an unnatural death case with the police station in this connection.
