Man \\\'commits suicide\\\' in Jessore

A man allegedly committed suicide at Hajerali village in Jhikargachha Upazila in Jessore on Sunday night. The dead is Hafizur Rahman, 40, hailed from Jirani under Ashulia in Savar in the outskirts of Dhaka city. Some local people claimed that he was a drug addict. On the fateful day, Hafizur wanted some money from his wife for buying drugs. As she refused to give the money, he committed suicide by hanging himself with a scarf in his room. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Jessore 250-bed Hospital for autopsy. The autopsy report will reveal the cause of his death, according to a news agency.
