Man crushed under truck in city

A man was killed in a road accident in Dhaka on Monday. Identity of the deceased could not be known. Police said the unidentified man, aged about 40, died on the spot as a truck ran over him in the morning. Witnesses said a speeding truck ran over the man at Babubazar Bridge in the city around 6:30am, leaving him dead on the spot. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Mitford Hospital for autopsy, according to UNB.
