Man dies falling off city building rooftop

A youth died falling off the rooftop of a building in Lalbagh area in the city on Friday. Contacted, sub-inspector Galibul Islam of Lalbagh Police Station said, being informed, police rescued the unidentified man, aged about 35, from a place adjacent to a building at Kashmeritola under Lalbagh Police Station with severe injuries at about 1:30 am. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead around 2:00 am, SI Galib said, according to UNB.
