Man found dead in Gazipur

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from a drain in Tongi Hossain Market area of Gazipur city on Thursday morning. Ataur Rahman, sub-inspector of Tongi Police Station said locals spotted the body of the man, aged around 30, in the area in and informed police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police suspected that the young man might have been strangled at some time on Wednesday night and the body dumped there, according to a news agency.
