Man hacked dead in Rajbari

An alleged terrorist was hacked to death by his rivals at Bhagalpur village in Goalanda upazila of Rajbari district on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Dimbal, 20, son of Momin Pramanik, a resident of the area. SM Shahjalal, officer-in-charge of Goalanda Ghat Police Station said a group of his rivals chopped Dimbal indiscriminately at about 9:00 pm. Later, they slaughtered him and slit his throat to ensure his death and left the scene hurriedly. Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to a hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police suspected that internal feud of the two groups might have been the reason behind the murder, the OC added. Superintendent of police Rabiul Islam visited the spot, according to a news agency.
