Man hacked to death in Jessore

Miscreants have hacked to death a man in Sarsa Upazila of Jessore. The victim, Mahidul Islam, 25, was the son of Abdul Mannan, of Shikarpur villager of the Upazila. Sarsa Police Station OC Ahmed Kabir Hossain said, ‘His body was recovered from an abandoned house in Narikelbaria village.’ He said the house was used as a liquor and drug den where Mahidul often went to drink and take drugs. Miscreants murdered him on Thursday, locals said, according to a news agency.
