Man held for killing wife -

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday arrested a man from the city's Kakrail area for allegedly killing his wife.
The arrestee is identified as Md Nurul Islam who went into hiding after killing his spouse Reshma.
Commanding Officer (CO) of RAB-10 Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mahfuzur Rahman disclosed the information at a press briefing held at Karwan Bazar RAB Media Centre in the capital.
He said Nurul Islam, a resident of Borishur under Keraniganj upazila in Dhaka, married Reshma 12 years ago.
Soon after their marriage, Reshma went to Jordan with consent from her husband. During her stay at Jordan, a rift developed between them that led to breakup of their conjugal life just three months back.
