Man held while fleeing with wife\\\'s body

GAZIPUR, Oct 28 (UNB): Police arrested a young man from the city's Chhayabithi area on Tuesday morning while he was trying to flee with the body of his wife after killing her.
The arrestee was identified as Rafiqul Islam, a resident of south Chhayabithi of the city. Rafique along with his wife Papia used to live at a rented house in the area.
Locals said they suspected Rafique when he tried to escape with his house furniture by a pickup van in the morning. Later they found the body of his wife Papia, wrapped in a quilt, after searching the vehicle and informed police.
Police arrested Rafique and sent the body to hospital morgue for an autopsy.
