Man held with 204 Yaba in Jamalpur

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 204 pieces of Yaba tablets from Bhelamari village in Madarganj upazila of Jamalpur on Sunday. The arrestee was identified as Minhaj Uddin, 30, son of late Gafur Mandol of Rayer Bakai village in Melandaha upazila. Members of Rab-14 said on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Minhaj while he was staying there for selling the Yaba tablets. The Rab members also recovered 204 pieces of Yaba tablets from his possession. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
