Man held with 500 Yaba tablets in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Jun 11 (BSS): Chittagong Metropolitan Police in a raid arrested a youth with 500 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from Karnaphuli Bridge area in the port city on early today.
The arrestee was identified as Billal Hossain, 30, son of Abdul Barek, hailing from Turag area of Dhaka.
Bakalia thana police, on information, raided a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of Shayamoli Transport Service coming from Cox's Bazar in the area at around 4am and arrested Billlal with the Yaba, said Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bakalia police station.
A case was filed in this connection.
