Man held with 50kg explosives at Keraniganj

Members of Criminal Investigation Department of police on Tuesday arrested a man along with 50 kg explosives from Keraniganj, on the outskirts of the capital. The arrested was identified as Swapan, 40. Contacted, Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations) Masudur Rahman of the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident. He said a special CID team conducted a drive at Keraniganj in the afternoon and arrested Swapan along with the explosives, according to UNB.
