Man held with 9,600 Yaba in Teknaf

Police in a drive arrested a man along with 9,600 pieces of Yaba tablet at Nhilla in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Thursday night. The arrestee was identified as Jahidul Islam, 50, a gunman of local branch office of Union Bank. Ataur Rahman Khandaker, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station said, tipped off a team of police conducted a raid at the Nhilla branch office of Union Bank around 10:30 pm and arrested Jahidul along with the Yaba tablets. Later he was taken to the Teknaf Police Station, according to a news agency.
