Man held with petrol bombs in Sirajganj

Police in a drive arrested a man along with three petrol bombs and bomb making material from Monohorpur village in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district on Wednesday. The arrestee was identified as Ziaur Rahman, 32, son of Sobder Ali, a resident of the village. Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Tarash police station said, on secret information, police conducted a drive at the village and seized the petrol bombs and bomb making ingredients from Ziaur’s house. Later police arrested Ziaur in this connection, according to a news agency.
