Man held with Phensidyl in C\\\'nawabganj

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested a young man in possession of 46 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from a bus in Mahananda Bridge area of Chapainawabganj district town on Monday night. The arrestee was identified as Subedar Ali, 30, son of Fazlur Rahman, a resident of Omarpur village in Shibganj upazila. BGB-9 said in a press release, tipped off, a team of the border force conducted a drive in the area and intercepted a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘National Travels’ at about 10:15pm. Later, the border force arrested Subedar along with 46 bottles of Phensidyl searching the vehicle. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
