Man held with yaba in Rajshahi

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested an alleged drug trader with 750 pieces of yaba tablets in Roypara area under Rajpara Police Station in Rajshahi city Friday night, RAB sources said. The arrested was identified as Khorshed Alam, 26, son of Aktar Hossain, of the same area. On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid in the area at around 8.40 pm and arrested him with the contraband drugs. The arrested person and seized goods were handed over to the police and a case was recorded with Rajpara Police Station in this connection, according to a news agency.
