Man killed 1 month after abduction

Some miscreants killed a man one month after his abduction and dumped the body in a crop field in Singra Upazila in Natore district at some times between Tuesday and early Wednesday. Locals found the body of Abdus Salam, 38, a farmer by profession and resident of Salamar village, in a paddy field at the same village on Wednesday morning and informed police. Quoting locals, police said Salam had gone out of his house 1 month ago and did not return home. Police sent the body, bearing injury marks, to Natore Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Locals said that miscreants might have abducted him and dumped his body there after killing him. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
