Man killed \\\'by brother-in-law\\\' in C\\\'nawabganj

A man was beaten to death allegedly by his brother-in-law at Palsha at Sadar upazila in Chapainawabganj on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Jashim Uddin, 36, son of Amir Master of Bildanga area in Nachol upazila of the district. Police said Jashim and his brother-in-law Khairul had been at loggerheads over a piece of land. In a sequel to the dispute, an altercation ensued between Jashim and Khairul over the issue in the afternoon. At one stage, Khairul beat Jashim mercilessly, leaving him critically injured. Later Jashim died on way to a local hospital, according to UNB.
