Man killed by friend in Ctg

A man has allegedly stabbed his friend to death in Chittagong’s Patenga. Victim Rana Miah, 32, was a van driver. The alleged killer Khairul Islam, also a van driver, is absconding. Police have detained his wife over the incident. Islam took Rana to his house on Tuesday night on the pretext of repaying the latter’s money and stabbed him there, Patenga Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md Alamgir said. Rana died on the spot, he said. A case was filed accusing Islam and his wife ‘Salma’. Police arrested Salma from the house, according to bdnews24.com.
