Man killed by wife in Meherpur

A man was allegedly killed by his wife at Old Madandanga village under Sadar upazila of Meherpur district on Saturday night. The victim was Azizur Rahman, 46, son of Fajlul Haque of the same area. Family sources said Salina Khatun, 38, hit her husband with a bamboo stick over a family feud, leaving Azizur injured critically. Azizur died on the way to Meherpur General Hospital. Ahasan Habib, officer-in-charge of the sadar thana said, police arrested Salina for interrogation, according to a news agency.
