Man killed, cousin found dead in Patuakhali

PATUAKHALI, Dec 27 (UNB) Two cousins died at Atoshkhali village in Baufal upazila of Patuakhali district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Selim Munshi (40), son of Khorshed Munshi, and Alauddin Munshi (50), son of Amir Hossain Munshi of the upazila.
According to locals, Selim and Alauddin had been at loggerheads over the ownership of a piece of land for a long time.
At 10:30 pm on Tuesday, a group of miscreants intercepted Selim on his way home and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him dead. Alauddin, meanwhile, was found dead at his residence in the night.
