Man killed in Satkhira motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist was killed as a bus rammed into his vehicle at Bharashimla More on the Satkhira-Kaliganj road in Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Moksed Gazi, 45, son of Rabbani Gazi, a resident of Kalbari village in Shyamnagar upazila of the district. Officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station Subhash Singh said a passenger carrying bus knocked down the motorcycle in the area at about 9:00 am, leaving Moksed dead on the spot. Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
