Man killed in Satkhira road accident

A man was killed in a road accident at Sadar upazila in Satkhira on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Ali Gazi, 70, son of late Kutubuddin of the area. Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Sangram Paribahan’ ran over Ali Gazi while he was crossing Satkhira-Kaliganj Road at Alipur Hatkhola intersection around 1:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy, according to UNB.
