Man killed in Savar road crash

An unidentified young man was crushed under the wheels of a bus in Noyarhat bus stand area of Savar upazila on Thursday. Police said the accident took place as the Manikganj-bound speeding bus hit the man while he was crossing the road, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Mostafa Kamal, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, confirmed the incident. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
