Man killed in Tangail crash

A man was killed in a road accident on a link road to Bangabandhu (Jamuna) Bridge at Charbhabla at Kalihati upazila in Tangail district on Sunday morning. The accident left two other people injured. Identity of the deceased could not be known. Police said a Dhaka-bound truck from the northern region fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering at Charbhabla around 8am, leaving a man in the truck killed on the spot, injuring the truck driver and his helper. The injured were rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
