Man killed in Wall collapse in city

A man was killed as a wall of a poultry shop collapsed on him in front of his house on the Chiriakhana Road under Mirpur Police Station in Dhaka city on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Belal Hossain, 47, son of Ahsan Ullah Gazi, a resident of the area. Sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said a portion of the wall of the poultry shop in the area collapsed on Belal around 9:30am while he was standing beside, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to DMCH where attending doctors declared him dead, according to a news agency.
