Man killed over land dispute in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Apr 20 (UNB): A 42-year-old man was hacked to death allegedly by his rivals over a land dispute in Chattogram district on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Musa, son of Sona Miah of Mirzapur union in Hathazari upazila.
Mohammad Jabed, a sub-inspector at Hathazari Model Police Station, said, "Musa and his nephew had a long-standing dispute over the ownership of a piece of land".
Around 9.30pm on Tuesday night, assailants attacked Musa with sharp weapons, leaving him dead on the spot.
"On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body", the SI said.
The body has been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for an autopsy.
