Man killed trying to stop altercation

A young man was killed in an attack allegedly by his  neighbour as he tried to stop an altercation between two brothers at Muradnagar upazila in Comilla district on Saturday. The victim was identified as Malu Mia, 27, of Sonaullah village. Locals said the incident took place at Sonaullah village when Malu tried to stop a quarrel between Khalilur Rahman, 23, and his elder brother Haque Sab, 25, over the possession of a piece of land. At one stage, Khalilur hit Malu at his head with a stick, leaving him dead on the spot, according to UNB.
