Man \\\'kills\\\' wife over dowry in Natore

A housewife was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband over dowry at Kayemkola village in Boraigram Upazila in Natore on Thursday night. The dead is Arzina Akhter, 20, wife of Faruk Hossain of the village. Police said Arzina was married off to Faruk about two years back. However, their marriage was not a happy one as Faruk and his family members used to torture Arzina mentally and physically over dowry. On Thursday night, Faruk stabbed Arzina indiscriminately over the issue, leaving her critically injured. She was rushed to a local clinic where doctors declared her death, according to UNB.
