Man smashed between 2 buses

A man has been killed in a road accident in Jatrabari area in Dhaka city. Police quoting witnesses said Abul Kalam, 45, was actually sandwiched by two buses. Pedestrian Mizanur Rahman who also witnessed the accident, said that a recklessly-driving bus crushed the man while he was trying to get into a Gabtoli-bound bus, leaving him injured critically. He was rescued and whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctor declared him dead. When contacted, sub-inspector (SI) Ranjit Shaha of Jatrabari Police Station confirmed the accident saying both of the buses have been seized, according to a news agency.
