Man, son killed in Shariatpur road crash

A man and his son were killed in a road accident at Sadar upazila in Shariatpur district on Monday morning. The deceased were identified as Delwar Sohail, 35, and his son Mannan, 10. Locals said that a shallow engine-run human hauler collided head-on with a truck at Bala Bazar on Chandpur-Shariatpur Highway around 9:00am, leaving both the father and son dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar Hospital for autopsy, according to UNB.
