Man stabbed dead in Jhenidah

A man was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Enayetpur village at Jhenidah Sadar upazila on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Abdul Khalek, 45, a vegetable trader and son of Lutfur Rahman of the village. Imrul Hasan, in-charge of Dakbangalow police camp, said a group of miscreants swooped on Abdul Khalek and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was sleeping outside his house around 3:00am, leaving him critically injured. Later he died on way to Sadar Hospital. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy, according to UNB.
