Man stabbed dead in Narsingdi

Miscreants stabbed to death a man and looted cash and valuable items from his house at Narsingdi Sadar upazila on Wednesday. Inmates of the house and their neighbours said a gang of 10-12 armed miscreants stormed the house of Sultan Uddin Khan around 3:00am and beat up the house owner and other inmates of the house indiscriminately. At one stage, the criminals stabbed Sultan Uddin indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot. They also broke open the steel almirah and looted five tolas of gold ornaments, cash Tk 200000, five mobile phone sets and other valuables worth Tk 500,000. The criminals left the spot when the villagers woke up and started to rush in hearing screams of the house inmates, according to UNB.
