Man stabbed dead in Pirojpur

Miscreants stabbed to death a man at Ikribazar at Bhandaria upazila in Pirojpur early Sunday. The dead is Abdur Rashid, 45, a resident the village and member of security staff at Ikri Bazar. Police and witnesses said a gang of 10/15 armed miscreants swooped on the house of Shamsu Muhuri at dead and stabbed Shamsu and his two sons-Shahdat and Sawar, leaving the trio injured. As security guard Rashid saw the miscreants and raised a hue and cry while they were fleeing the miscreants stabbed him, leaving him dead on the spot. Police recovered the body on Sunday morning. The injured were admitted to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
