Man stabbed dead over extramarital affair

A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friends over extramarital relationship in Mirpur upazila in Kushita district on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Alamgir Hossain, 35, son of late Hamza Hossain of Mallikpur Kulpara village. Police said Alamgir developed an extramarital relationship with the wife of his friend Kamal recently. When Kamal came to know about the development, he called Alamgir to a place near his house at Mallikpur Kulpara village around 11:30pm and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy on Saturday morning, accrding to a news agency.
