Man stabbed on DU campus

Some miscreants hacked a middle-aged man in Dhaka University area on Wednesday. The victim was identified as Alamgir Bhuyan, 50, a resident of Kutubkhali in the city’s Jatrabari area. Campus sources, quoting witnesses, said a gang of unidentified miscreants, equipped with sharp weapons, swooped on Alamgir in front of Arts Faculty on the DU campus, leaving him critically injured. He was rescued and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. A blood-stained knife was found on the spot, according to private TV channels.
