Man stabs wife, father-in-law to death in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR, Sept 14 (UNB): A man has allegedly stabbed his wife and father-in-law to death at Charkalakopa village in Ramgati upazila of Laxmipur district on Wednesday night.
The dead is Rasheda Begum, wife of Md Sumon, and Badsha Mia, Rasheda's father.
Quoting local people, Mohammad Saifuddin Anwar, officer-in-charge of Ramgati thana, said Sumon married Rasheda a few years back and since then he would often torture her over domestic dispute.
Rasheda's father took her back home and got her remarried, without informing Sumon.
