Man strangled dead in city

Some miscreants have strangled a young man to death in Lalbagh area in Dhaka city. Police recovered the body of Alauddin Shikder, 29, from a wardrobe at a house in on Sunday morning. Confirming the incident, Lalbagh Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge Nurul Muttakim said that the body, with wire around the neck, was found from a building at the Duri Anguri Lane in the area. ‘The body was found with wire wrapped around the neck. He was probably strangulated to death,’ OC Muttakim said, adding ‘Police arrested the victim’s brother, ‘Suman’, suspecting that he was involved with the murder, according to a news agency.
