Man strangled dead in Habiganj

Some miscreants strangulated man, believed to be a driver, to death and took away his vehicle in Habiganj Sadar Upazila at sometimes between Monday night and early Tuesday. The miscreants dumped the body of Sohel Ahmed Subel in Sutang area on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway after killing him. Sohel was the son of Anu Miah, according to a driving license found in his pocket. Locals found Sohel’s body, with hands and legs tied, and informed police who recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Police believe that miscreants dumped his body there after strangulating him to death. Police also believe that miscreants killed him for his vehicle, according to a news agency.
