Man to die for murder in Kushtia

A court in Kushtia on Monday convicted a man and sentenced him to death for killing a beauty parlor worker on March 27 in 2013. The condemned convict is Mojibur Rahman alias Likhon, son of Mizanur Rahman of the district town. According to the prosecution, Shahjadi Farzana Boby was shot dead by miscreants in her beauty parlor in the Kataikhana intersection area in the evening of March 27, 2003. Later, her husband Abu Shams filed a case against Mizan and his wife Boishakhi. After examining evidences and witnesses, Additional District and Sessions Judge Reza Mohammad Alamgir handed down the verdict, according to a news agency.
