Mango harvest to begin in Naogaon on May 20

NAOGAON, May 17: The Deputy Commissioner's (DC) office in Naogaon has scheduled the dates for starting mango harvest in order to prevent the marketing of immature fruits.
A notification issued by the office said, "Growers can harvest Guti variety of mangoes from May 20. Besides, the harvest date for Gopalbhog mangoes has been fixed on May 27, Khirsapat/Himsagar on June 2, Nag Fazli on June 4, Lengra on June 10, Fazli on June 20, Amrapali on June 22, Ashwina and Bari-4 varieties on July 8."
