Mango prices up in Natore as season wind up

NATORE, July 25: Prices of mango has not eased even as the season comes to a close despite a bumper production this year in the country.
The prices of mango were high this year compared to the previous year and were being sold between Tk 70-100 per kg against Tk 40-70 the previous season.
Supply of different kinds of mango in markets was good but because of the high price common people could not buy them in sufficient quantities.
There was a bumper production of mango because of dense fog at the beginning of the season and the dry weather afterwards sources said.
