Manir Hossain new RHD chief engineer

Roads and Highways Department (RHD)'s senior most engineer AKM Manir Hossain Pathan was appointed the chief engineer of the department under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges (MRTB) recently, says a statement.
Prior to his new assignment, Manir Hossain Pathan was serving as the additional chief engineer at the same department. He joined the RHD in 1989 as an assistant engineer.
Manir Hossain hails from Dakkhin Matlab in Chandpur district. He graduated in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1986.
Mr Manir is the president of Roads and Highways Engineers Association and also the international affairs secretary of Bangladesh Prakoushal Parishad.
