Manpower export to Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is reported to have agreed to lift the ban on recruiting Bangladeshi workers.  It is also known to have assured that the cost of migration will go down significantly. Saudi Arabia used to be one of the most preferred destinations of Bangladeshi people who wanted to work abroad. Not only unskilled and low-skilled work force, Bangladesh should also eye highly skilled manpower for Saudi Arabia as it will bring more foreign exchange for our country. Ours is a overpopulated country and we need to create more jobs for our young population as every year tens of thousands of young men and women enter the job market.
Once Bangladesh was one of the largest suppliers of labour force to Saudi Arabia and we hope it will soon regain its lost position. We had to wait for seven years to get the work restriction for Bangladeshi workers lifted and I think the government should show more alacrity in this matter without any further loss of time.
