Marauding elephant kills 2 in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, Apr 24 (UNB): Two people were killed in an attack by a marauding elephant in Durgapur border area of the district early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Taher Uddin,65, a resident of Chaklengura village in Durgapur upazila, and Shiplu,31, a resident of Santosh Park area of the upazila headquarters.
Locals said the wild elephant coming from Nalua Para of the border area invaded the village in the early hours.
