Marcel to make 3 lakh TV sets a year

Marcel, a local electrical and electronic goods company, is setting up a factory in Gazipur to manufacture some three lakh television sets in a year. Marcel officials said the construction work of the new manufacturing unit is going on in the full swing. Mosharraf Hossain Rajib, chief marketing officer of Marcel, said, “Marcel brand products have gained huge confidence of the local customers due to its high quality and affordable prices. Marcel is manufacturing products considering the environment of Bangladesh and purchasing capacity of local customers. Marcel is now marketing different products, including, refrigerator, television, motorcycle, air-conditioner, generator, DVD player, blender, rice cooker, microwave oven, iron, etc, according to UNB.
